One in five adults will experience a mental health disorder in any given year. Mental health disorders often start in adolescence, with half of all disorders beginning by age 14. The Summit County Health Department recently found that 25% of Summit County students live with mental health issues every day, including thoughts of suicide. The greatest challenge in coping with a mental illness is finding the right kind of treatment and support to meet your needs. Identifying the right treatment is often a trial and error process, and the process can be overwhelming. We understand.
CONNECT would like to thank the Park City Community Foundation, the Promontory Foundation, and Summit County for helping underwrite the costs of this project and for their support of the Summit County community.
